On reflection, 2018 has been an incredibly busy yet fulfilling year for MTS. We successfully ran 9 courses with introduction of a new course, MSK diagnostic ultrasound to our regular courses. It was a groundbreaking first time in our 5 years of operations that none of the courses has to be cancelled. For this, I would like to thank all of our keen learners and course providers who have supported our courses and also sharing what we are passionate about as an education company.

From the beginning, MTS mission is to provide the highest quality of evidence informed postgraduate medical and health education. With this in mind, MTS will continue to strive for providing excellence in all of the courses brought to you. We have in store a few BIG plans for 2019 and we can’t wait to bring you through this enriching journey of professional development together.

As the New Year begins, MTS looks forward to the line up of courses that we have planned just for you. WE HEAR YOU! Based on our past participants feedback, we have added a few new courses in 2019, in addition to our highly popular repeated courses for Clinical Manual Therapy and Visceral Manipulation, as well as MSK Ultrasound for the second time, as we strive to provide the highest quality education platform for further education to everyone.

New Courses in 2019:

Hand Therapy course & Splinting Workshop (25 – 27 January 2019): A specialised course that focuses on hand rehabilitation and practical skills to reduce oedema and stiffness of the hand. Taught by a South African hand therapist with over 35 years of experience!

Visceral Manipulation (VM) Modules 3 and 4: Visceral Manipulation (VM) was developed by world-renowned French Osteopath and Physiotherapist Jean-Pierre Barral. VM assists functional and structural imbalances throughout the body including musculoskeletal, vascular, nervous, urogenital, respiratory, digestive and lymphatic dysfunction. It evaluates and treats the dynamics of motion and suspension in relation to organs, membranes, fascia and ligaments. VM increases proprioceptive communication within the body, thereby revitalizing a person and relieving symptoms of pain, dysfunction, and poor posture.
MTS is honoured to be the UAE partner for this highly intensive course for the past 2 years with VM1 and VM2 that focuses on the abdomen. This year, we will have VM1 and VM2 again, and for the first time, VM3 that focuses on the pelvis (a special shout out to all women’s health specialist!) and VM4 on the thorax to all past VM graduates. With more advanced level courses means you will need to attend VM1 and VM2 to be eligible for VM3 and VM4 – tough journey ahead but definitely rewarding!

Exciting News Alert!

The Schroth Best Practice program® : We will be re-running this course in 2nd half of 2019 for the 3rd time in partnership with the official Schroth Best Practice academy based in Germany. The Schroth Best Practice program® is the recent development of the original program provided by the grandson of Katharina Schroth, Dr. Hans-Rudolf Weiss. We are awaiting confirmation of the dates with the founder Dr. Hans-Rudolf Weiss to grace the occasion in 2019 to share 3 generations of knowledge!
